It folds without disassembly and packs into standard 29” suitcase (meeting airline sizing requirements) in about 1 minute. Many airlines impose very high extra charges each way for oversized bicycle cartons.
Its full titanium frame and high performance parts make for a very lightweight e- bike, weighing about 29 lb. Most airlines have a 50-lb limit on checked luggage, hence prohibiting shipping of most bikes without extra charges.
- It uses quick-release battery modules that comply with FAA regulations for inclusion in carry-on baggage. In general, electric bikes, scooters and hoverboards are not allowed in checked baggage on commercial flights.
